Quick One

Assalamualaikum and Hello :)

I am definitely a pure minimalist.
And I am currently addicted to white silk or polyester loose shirt that goes really well with skinny jeans or pencil skirt.

Hoping for sales season. Or perhaps, in Singapore?

Iftar with Bestie

Assalamualaikum and Hello :)

I spend the afternoon with her yesterday. Since it is now the final week of Ramadhan, we both went for berbuka puasa together at The Cave, Ayer Molek. It was our first time dining there.
And the food and service was not bad at all :)

 Bottomless drinks, anyone?

It was her treat! Yeayy!

Random photo while waiting for foods.

Mushroom bruschetta for appetizer.

Jon asked for this Junior beef patty and surprisingly she could finished them all. I was surprised.
(She always didn't finished her food.)

Seems like they put something into my carbonara - the green peas.
I don't prefer green peas somehow.

Talk about Jon, I didn't finished mine too. =.=''

But overall, I love the place. And I love how the staff kindly asked us is it our first time there and was the food ok or do we any suggestion for improvement.

Will definitely come back here again in future :)

Blue July

Assalamualaikum and Hello.

Breaking News from Astro Awani about our passenger airline who's crashed in the Ukraine really gets me in forlorn.
By that time (around 9.30pm) the news was not confirmed yet.
I pray to Him to don't let the news to be true but dolefully another tragedy occur after the MH370.

I don't have the knowledge about aviation nor to spawn theory on how it happened but I do pray hard so that the one who are responsible for this would be charged and deliberate action would be taken on them.
Death is inevitable but death by murder is unforgivable.
Whoever they are, they cannot simply say this is something unintended or unplanned.

Please, people should unite and holding hands to get through this. We should not blame each other.
In fact, we should stop blowing the whistle on the government or the opposition or the MAS itself.
Our brothers and sisters died in a dreadful way somewhere over the war zone but we here fighting and whisking to be the best keyboard warrior.

In this holy month of Ramadhan, let's put aside our political differences and give our rigid support to our leader and his men that I believe; are doing the very best that they could in handling this catastrophe.

Al-Fatihah.
To Him we belong, and to Him we shall return.

May Allah bless the souls that left us and may justice be evident.
And may the deceased family members and friends be strong in walking through this sorrow.

Amin.

Public Awareness : Smoking in Public

Assalamualaikum and Hello :)

I'm not really a fan of dining outside. Especially at an open area where people are free to smoke their lungs out.
This is mainly due to my allergy to cigar smoke, which can give me runny nose.

I always wonder what those smokers really feel when they smoke in public area or spaces; with kids, small children and pregnant ladies around them.
Don't they care at all?
Don't they feel guilty to make them inhale contaminated air into their fragile lungs?
Are they really that dense and oblivious?

And I have always seen a situation where one family consists of a husband and his pregnant wife together with their small kid sit together at kedai makan for dinner.
While waiting for their food, the husband will take a fag or two and the wife seems helpless.
I don't know, maybe she's conceded, tired of asking the hubs to slow down with the smoking things.

Of course I am nobody but as a society, I am very frustrated with this scenario.
You don't have to be a doctor or a top notch health industry people to see this.
You just have to be wise.

Smoking in public is like initiating a battle that the innocents will never win.

If your health isn't enough to make you quit smoking, then the health of your baby should be.
The smoke that burns off the end of a cigarette or cigar actually contains more harmful substances (tar, carbon monoxide, nicotine, and others) than the smoke inhaled by the smoker.
Complications are - miscarriage, stillbirth, tubal pregnancy, low birth weight baby, asthma, allergies, more frequent lung and ear infections, and are at higher risk for sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).

Stop being ignorant.

You can smoke your lungs out but please spare the children.

If you have a heart.

On That Financial Thing

Assalamualaikum and Hello :)

I am totally ready for Japan! Haha.

Yesterday I headed to the bank to get my two new credit cards : Visa and AMEX.
And currently I am using Mastercard. So now I have three cards.

At first I was a bit sceptical about this credit card thingy.
My mind set was CREDIT CARD=DEBT / DEBT=CREDIT CARD.

But actually I should take a look at it from another perspective.
Instead of relating credit card with debts, I should see it as a PAYMENT METHOD.
There is no way I go here and there with thick purse; especially during my outstation trips, so credit card really do save my neck a lot.

For example, staying at hotel for RM180 per night; for four nights already costs me RM720, not including petrol budget and pocket money.
So most of the time, I just swiped my card for hotel payment and petrol, and keeping RM100 for duit makan.
Enough.

I rarely use my card for shopping purpose, except for that one time, I love this one MNG red dress so much I just can't let it go. Sizes was limited. I only found 1 piece that fits my figure.
I wasn't dare to go out and run to the nearest ATM so I seized the dress and took it to the counter and nah take my credit card and make this piece mine!!

*over dramatic. In reality I was very polite and poise.* ehem.

As long as you pay what you spend, then you are good to go :)

Rezeki Ramadhan

Assalamualaikum and Hello :)

Hanis is a busy bee.

Thank you so much for those who are kind enough to approach me asking about my preloved details.

I have sold plenty of them and hopefully the girls are all happy as I do.

Now I spend most of my time with Instagram and Whatsapp, FB is now neglected.
And my room is a huge mess too. =.=''

I really love doing this and I think I can't stop already :D

Thank you Allah.

Tauke Suda Gilaaa

Assalamualaikum and Hello! :)
In this entry I mentioned about clearing my wardrobe.
I also mentioned how packed it is that they almost explode.
I think if my wardrobe could talk or have feelings, maybe she will choke me in fury and obscured me with all the cloths that I have without any trace.
The main reason why I need to clear my wardrobe is that; yes I have too much clothes that I seldom wear. I also have so many clothes that I never wear too.
As I told before; pure consumerisme. And it is now the time to let them go.
Second thing is, I need to clear my unwanted stuffs since I'm going to move from JB by the end of this year InsyaAllah. I'm sure my future husband didn't expect me to bring all of my clothes, and he told me to bring things that I am sure I'm going to wear ONLY.
Well, indirectly, giving me another reason to shop more, later. Hurray!
(By saying more, I mean, MORE MORE. Not just more.)
*Oh hi Hizami!*
So I started with sorting all my clothes and put them into Jual Category or Simpan Category or Sayang Nak Jual Category.
Jual Category is easy. If I can't fit into the dress anymore, then jual lah. If I already bored with the same outfit, then jual jugak.
Same thing goes with those outfits that Hizami kata tak lawa =.=''
How could you boyf.
Simpan Category basically keeps the items that I still in love with.
For example, my jeans. Oh don't forget, I told here before I only have two jeans.
If I put them on sale, what am I going to wear then?
UNLESS, if I go hunting for a new jeans, then MAYBE I'll let the old ones go.
See how complicated this thing can be? Which then drives into the Sayang Nak Jual Category.
Sayang Nak Jual Category really shows my hoarder attitude.
I got this one toga dress that I bought from SEED with RM223.90 price tag earlier this year. And, I never wear it until today.
Being too reluctant to let it go, I'll just keep it with me until I get married; or until I get pregnant; or maybe forever.
Same thing happen with my Padini lace dress, Banana Republic LBD and LWD, Massimo Dutti white shirt, Bebe black shirtdress, ZaraWoman white big shirt, MNG red dress, GUESS bodycon dress arrghh I let me bang my head on the wall first.
One tiny step is better than not having any step at all.
My first tiny step was : I made one Instagram account just to sell all my stuffs, little by little.
Hang one dress on the wall - snap the picture - post on the Instagram - learn to use hashtags - and let's see if somebody out there wants to buy it.
Somehow, there ARE people who keen in my items. And the very first item that I let go was my NAFNAF floral blazer.
And I sold them with uber cray cray cheap price I feel like buying my own stuffs.
Well, things like ZARA top that I let go for only 25bux, Dressing Paula blazer for only 50bux, Uniqlo tunic for only 35bux - yea, harga tauke suda gila. Like that.
Stop this wordy post.
The main objective of writing this entry is basically to invite you guys to visit my IG.
 Lol.
Now off you go and search for GOBOKHANIS in Instagram naoooo :D
Toodles.

To Insure Proper Service

Assalamualaikum and Hello!

This to tip or not to tip came across my mind when I was at a restaurant, chilling with Jon and I saw one old tip box that they put on the cashier counter.

And looking at the waiters *mostly guys*, only one or two of them are busy taking orders and prepare drinks and then serve foods to their customers; meanwhile there was a bunch of guys sitting at the back and berbual.

So what is the point of giving restaurant tip if in the end of the day they would hydrolyzed the amount and each waiter got equal number even though they gave first-rate services compared to those who gave middling services?

Honestly I never been a tipper in my life; either personal tipper nor restaurant tipper since there is Service Charge tax they included in our bills.

But in this case, I think it is better to give personal tip; the money you give goes straight away into the waiter's pocket compared to restaurant tip; unless if you find the services are totally exquisite and you think you should tip everyone =.=

Somehow, no one is obligated to tip in any occasion *in Malaysia* but you still can tip to show extra appreciation; other than a simple thank you.
Just like Hizami said, tipping might be customary after the GST implementation.
If you want to tip, tip properly with the right etiquette or otherwise don't tip at all.

Ps : An old friend of mine who worked as a part time waiter told me :
"A simple thank you is great but still, a million thank yous cannot pay for my cup of coffee."

Roses From My Man

Assalamualaikum and Hello :)

I woke up this morning with a beautiful bouquet of roses next to my bed.

I received them yesterday. At first I thought the man who called me asking whether I am home or not at the particular moment was the courier guy sending blood test devices and strips, but who knew it turned out to be the flower delivery man.

Well, I thought it was the courier guy because he said,

"Hello, saya dari mnnjnfcnjksjik-delivery, nak hantar barang lah petang ni blablabla"

*mnnjnfcnjksjik - mumbling*

=.=

One huge lorry carried my bouquet only since I can't see any other bouquets.

Thank you Hizami for the roses.
Honestly I was the one who asked for flowers but I didn't expect that he took my words so seriously.
I am so happy! And I love them a lot!

I spend the night by staring at the flowers and smile and being so happy until I fall asleep.

Teheee~
Actually I took plenty of selfies but nevermind, only one selfie here so that people won't get annoyed.

Toodles.

Ps : My very first rose was from Hizami :)
